1. Who we are

This site (simpanemas.com.my) is operated personally by Nurul Izzati (dealer code PG00223356), an independent Authorised Public Gold Dealer. We are not Public Gold Marketing Sdn Bhd, and this is not Public Gold's official website.

For the purposes of the PDPA 2010, the Operator is the data user responsible for the personal data you provide through this site.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what we need to support your gold-savings journey:

• Information you give us: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, and email (if provided) when you submit a form or request guidance.
• Tool inputs: your savings-plan quiz answers, the figures you enter into the projection or zakat calculators, and the savings goals you share.
• Interaction data: the pages you visit and actions you take on this site, recorded as events to measure and improve the service.
• Technical data: your IP address, device and browser type, and basic cookie data (see the Cookies section below).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive data (such as religious belief or health). Please do not send us such information.

3. Why we use it

We use your data only for the following purposes:

• To respond to your enquiries and provide relevant gold-savings guidance.
• To provide educational information about Shariah-compliant physical gold savings.
• To guide you to the purchase link at publicgold.com.my, with the dealer code pre-filled, when you choose to proceed.
• To improve the content, tools, and experience of this site.

We make no automated decisions that produce legal effects on you, and we sell no picture of guaranteed wealth or returns — all projections are educational illustrations only.

4. Your consent

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit it. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us — though this may mean we can no longer provide you with personalised guidance.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: the hosting and infrastructure that run this site on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations and only to deliver the service.
• Legal requirement: where required by law, a court, or a lawful regulatory authority.

Your gold purchase is made directly with Public Gold at publicgold.com.my. When you proceed, you leave our site and transact under Public Gold's own privacy notice. We do not process your payment and never receive your card or banking details.

6. Data security

Personal data is encrypted at rest, access is restricted and logged, and we never record your PII in plain text. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You may also request earlier deletion (see Your rights).

8. Your rights under the PDPA

You have the following rights over your personal data:

• Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or outdated data.
• Withdraw consent: stop further processing at any time.
• Limit processing: ask us to restrict how your data is used, including for follow-up communications.
• Deletion: ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed.
• Portability: request your data in an open, machine-readable format, so it remains yours.

9. Cookies and analytics

We use basic cookies and first-party event tracking to understand user journeys through this site and improve the service. We do not use third-party ad tracking for advertising profiles. You can block cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work fully.

10. Cross-border transfer

The infrastructure that runs this site may process or store data on servers outside Malaysia. Where this happens, we ensure protection equivalent to PDPA standards is maintained through providers bound by confidentiality and security obligations.

11. Children

This site is intended for adults making financial decisions for themselves or their families. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this notice from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the update date shown above. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way where relevant.
